here’s the entry on the making of fruit tart!

actually wong and i had a difficult time deciding what to make. i was feeling really lethagic so he almost murdered me through phone when he kept asking me what i want to bake. cos i will ask him back the same question he asked me. OOPS.

but finally we came to a consensus that is to bake FRUIT TART!!

so off we go to jp ntuc to shop!

 we shopped for ingredients needed to make dinner for ourselves as well cos wong’ parents were out for wedding dinner. this meant that the whole kitchen is OURS! kuakuakuakua!!

 so we decided to make a simple dinner, spagetti with alfredo sauce, sausage and egg. wong’s abit upset cos we didn’t include bacon and he loves bacon like crazy. then he just dump his egg onto the pan and the egg yolk went PI-CHIAK! gone case!

pudding was so so so patient looking at us while we were busy in the kitchen!!

so cute huh! the spagetti was good i was so so full till my tummy was so bloated. wong offered to wash the dishes and asked me to go play with pudding. so nice of him right?

want to know the reason?

because he was afraid that if i wash the dishes, i’d turn the basin into a swimming pool and he will have to clear the mess after that. so to prevent that from happening, he asked me to go play with pudding.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAS

we rest for awhile before baking the fruit tart. we started baking at around 8pm plus and finished at 11pm! so, making a mental note to myself, i’m going to start baking it earlier next time.

and here we go!

we cut the fruits first into slices then we started on the dough.

 i’m so proud of the strawberries! they looked professionally sliced huh. because its i who sliced them!

 look! pudding got so anxious that she started scratching the side of the kitchen door!

so naughty huh! when wong started to knead the dough, she went further back to get a better glimpse of what wong is doing. she kept hovering around the same spot looking at us and i got distracted by this furball. zzz wong was like, ‘eh can you concentrate making the tart? stop playing with pudding! ROARS!!’

oopsie. right right.

C.O.N.C.E.N.T.R.A.T.E.

here comes pudding the kitchen wrecker!

alas! after more than 3 hours of sweat and occasional disturbances from pudding, the fruit tart is finally done!

but! we forgot to add condense milk into the custard!!! so it tasted bland but luckily the fruits were sweet, so the fruit tart didn’t taste as bland as we thought it would be. LUCKY!

my grandparents found the tart nice! because its not sweet. my brother said it would be nicer if its sweeter. so, i will REMEMBER to add condense milk next time!!

i got so tired after baking the fruit tart that i crashed onto bed and slept throughout till the next day and woke up at 7 plus for work so sad huh. but it was really enjoyable baking and cooking with wong

he will start commenting on small stuff and make super lame comments as well. sometimes he’s like a small kid.

okay okay, pretend that i didn’t say that he is like a small kid sometimes. OOPS AGAIN.  here are the photos of pudding sleeping on wong’s bed!

 wong was scratching her and she fell asleep after that. so wong placed his bolster behind her and took photos.

OMG lar. its frigging frigging cute right?!! 

he also took at a video of pudding’s legg flicking when she was sleeping. like spring kind of flicking. lols wong got so excited that he managed to capture it on video that he texted me straight away.

don’t you think wong love pudding more?

okay, that’s it. tomorrow we will be having gong bao pudding for dinner!! LOLS.

i love pudding as much as well okay.

on a side note, i’ll be going for lasik this 28th dec!! WOOHOO!! i’ll be saying BYEBYE to glasses and contact lens!

alright, its time to clean up my room cos its in a mess right now with files everywhere even though its holidays. wonder why i’m so messy all the time. hmphs.
